Crochet Cabbage

Hi Friends,

Continuing my farmers’ market theme, I wanted to be sure to include a selection of leafy greens. I love encouraging children to enjoy their vegetables, and playtime is a great time to start!  My family enjoys growing cabbage to make our own sauerkraut. So, of course my farmers’ market selection should include cabbage. Although, it was not the easiest pattern to come across.

I did find a pattern that I enjoyed by Jennifer Hayes at Jennifer Hayes Creations. She created a variety of garden items to pair with her Cottage Bunny patterns, which are so cute! To check out the free pattern for Cottage Garden Crochet Cabbage CLICK HERE.

While I enjoyed Jennifer’s creations, her cabbages were just too small to “fit in” with the other items I created. After a few hours of playing around with stitch counts and sizing, I was able to create my own pattern for Crochet Cabbage.
